The Fishing Section is up and running with plenty of fish to catch. Chartered trips to Moeraki, Motunau, Kaikoura etc. New members are very welcome. Enquire at the office even better come down for a drink each Thursday in the Avalon Lounge or we meet 3rd Monday of each month 6pm. Be part of a great section.

The ChCh-Richmond Bowling Club have merged with the Edgeware Bowling Club 6 Forfar Street St.Albans. The club is now known as ChCh-Richmond-Edgeware Bowling Club. This is the new headquarters for our bowling activities and is still an adjunct (section) of the main body Richmond WMC.

BE PART OF GREAT SPORT,COME AND FIND OUT WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT!! Our racing season dosn't finish till mid December,but up till now Ray Sanderson and his pigeons seem to be taking most or the honours. His birds are at present heading all the averages and they are well out in front,something we all dream off.

DUE TO EARTHQUAKE DAMAGE THE SQUASH COURTS ARE CLOSED INDEFINATELY. BUT a big thank you to the Linwood SRC Kearneys Road who are offering us the use of their courts,FOR CLUB NIGHT and INHOUSE COMPETITIONS Wednesday Night Club night - 5.30 start time- come along and have a game AUGUST UPDATE The squash club is to be demolished in the near future. It is uncertain what the main club has in store for the future of the squash section. what belonged to the squash section was packed up in an hour and under supervision were the memorabilia honors boards, photos, television set,stereo, speakers and small amount of kitchen stuff. This was all loaded onto Johns truck and trailer, and taken to storage for our future club. At this stage its keeping our eyes and ears open to the main clubs future plans, to keep you updated. We thank all members for there support over the years and heres to a new club and great future with our squash section.
